I love this kid. While I type this, she is circling me and the laptop, shaking the jingle bell door hangers, singing Christmas songs in preparation for her Christmas program at her school, Thursday evening. She sings just as loud as she can. I *know* my neighbors can hear her at times. I *know* that anyone who calls me can hear her even from the next room. I think even the cats know her Christmas songs by now. She reminds me of Buddy the Elf. She gets so excited just hearing a Christmas song. The tree is up. The presents are bought BUT NOT WRAPPED. Last year, I made a mistake of wrapping gifts and putting them under the tree too early. Never again.
